ABOUT

I'm originally from Southern Indiana - born and raised in a town called Boonville, IN. You'll hear a lot of references to my childhood and hometown in my song "Indiana." Classic Americana, small town, Friday-night-football kind of childhood. I went to school for Musical Theatre at Webster Conservatory in St. Louis, MO. From there, I moved to New York City pursuing theatre for a few years. After a couple years in Las Vegas, I made my way to Raleigh, NC, where I think I'll stay put for awhile.

Writing and releasing Dryland, the title track of my debut EP, has truly been a cathartic experience for me. It's for anyone out there who's brave enough to make a huge shift or change in life, without really knowing exactly where they're trying to end up. They just know they have to go. And they're not sure it was the right decision yet, but everything in their being says "GO." I hope they take away that they're not alone - that there are many people out there just like me who are still trying to figure out who they are, what they want, and where they're going. They just know they have to make it to dry land.

My producer is Dan Cummins - he plays guitar on it as well and has released several albums of his own music. None of this would've been possible without him. He's in a Journey tribute band called Trial by Fire, if you'd like to check them out. They're awesome.

As for the future, we might take it really old school country for the next EP or album. I have an idea for a group of songs that are classic in chord structure and sound, but have a modern recording style. In the meantime, I'll be singing around town at weddings, festivals and clubs. I'll keep this site updated with show times and events.
